Parable of the Talents Mission's Project

We are so excited about our Talents Projects for Missions Month! Again this year we are giving each child in the 1st grade – 6th grades $5.00 each. This money will be passed out Sunday March 4th. The goal of the project is to take the money they are given, and multiply it to give back to God on our Missions Sunday March 25th. Take the time this week to study and pray with your child about this project. You can find the Parable of the Talents located in Matthew 25:14-30 and Luke 19:12-28. Pray with your child about how they can take their money and double it, triple it or even more! We are excited to see what God does and the offering our kids are able to bring on Missions Sunday! If your child decides not to participate, please, return the $5.00 to Ms. Jennifer, or their teacher, as soon as possible. All money will be due back on Sunday morning, March 25th.

If you need ideas, please contact Ms. Jennifer at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Preschool will continue to collect Legacy Copper Coins for Missions Sunday so save all of your change for your Preschooler!

We are excited to hear what each child does with their money and how you as a family work on this together! Email me your family plans so we can share them with the church body. Take pictures or keep a journal. We look forward to hearing from you on this!

Kickin' it Old School

Who remembers the 66 club? Perfect Bible class attendance award? What about a Bible Sword Drill? If you were a child of the 70’s or 80’s that went to Church, you probably got to be a part of at least one of these awesome activities! We are going to bring back some of
these fun ‘Blast from the Past’ for our own 1st through 6th grade Legacy Kids to participate in. At the end of the set time, each child that participates and completes each set goal, will be invited to the 1980’s Blast from the Past Pizza and Ice Cream Celebration Party! They must complete EVERY GOAL and have their Journeyman, teacher, Ms. Jennifer or a Shepherd sign their name on the bulletin board space saying they completed their goal. Let’s work together building our kids Bible knowledge!

Parents—If you remember an awesome activity that you did as a child that you think would be a great ‘Old School’ addition, email Ms. Jennifer at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and let her know about it!
