PURPOSE

The theme for the Legacy team is “Hands Helping Honduras”. The primary purpose of the mission is to provide critically needed medical services to the local community in a walk-in clinic setting. However, there will be a variety of jobs available, based on the following tentative activities:

Specialized skills are not necessary, as there are plenty of jobs that need to be done. Even so, our most important job is to help spread the good news about Jesus Christ.

COST & EXPENSES

The all-inclusive cost of the trip is $2000 pp, with a $600 deposit due by the end of January 2010.  This cost covers hotel accommodations, meals, transportation, and many of the supplies / medications to be used on the trip.  Individuals will also typically need to take a small amount of extra personal money for incidentals, souvenirs, etc.

FUNDRAISING

Several fundraisers are in development to minimize the out-of-pocket cost for mission trip workers.  Proceeds of group fundraising efforts will be shared evenly among those planning to participate.
