What To Expect
Jesus said that true worship is "in spirit and in truth" and gave us the marvelous revelation that "God seeks such to worship Him." It comes from the knowledge that God is indeed the great I Am, the Eternal One! That He is approachable only through Jesus Christ His Son who is "The Way, The Truth and The Life."As you assemble with us you will find our expression of worship to be:
- Reverent - We acknowledge God as Creator. We are awed by His presence! We are filled with praise!
- Thankful - With appreciative hearts we approach God knowing that redemption began even before at the fall of man and was finally consummated by the death of Christ on the cross.
- Joyful - We celebrate the incredible gift of His grace in giving His Son for our sins.
- Filled with praise - Singing is acappella by choice. Our singing engages both heart and mind as we speak to one another in psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with melody in our hearts to the Lord.
- Uplifting - Messages from God's word brings encouragement and hope in a world where Satan strives to discourage us.
- Relevant - We find peace knowing that God's strength sustains us in life's troubles and trials.
- Outward - Focused -We seek to encourage a servant heart and actions in a world that tends toward self-indulgence and egotism.
- Reflective - We remember the sacrifice of Jesus in partaking of the bread and wine each week.
- Redemptive - We often witness the baptism of a Christ-believer and rejoice in their new birth and the promise of eternal life through the indwelling Spirit of Christ.
- Generous - We acknowledge the Giver of all good things and respond with our lives and resources through freewill offerings to help the poor, preach the Word and support the church.
