SENIOR SUMMIT 2010!!!!!

When:  Monday, June 7th thru Wednesday, June 9th.  We will meet at Legacy at 8AM We will return on Wednesday evening around 9PM

Why:  To bring the new senior class closer together as a group.   *  Develop new friendships and unity  *  Develop leadership skills  *  Set a focus for the year with the seniors  *  Set goals with the seniors for the new school year

What:  Team Building (Ropes & River), Leadership, Worship, Goal setting, Fun, Sea World, Hard Rock Café’, & River walk

Where: San Antonio, TX (Mon-Wed) We will be staying at the Northside Church of Christ.

Cost:  We will cover most everything, except some of the meals.  Recommended at least $50 to cover some meals and souvenirs. (2 fast food lunch, 1 lunch at Sea World, 2 dinners)

We are excited about our summer missions for 2010!  This summer our high school students will be going to Nashville, TN to work with NICM (Nashville Inner-City Missions).  Our junior high will be going to San Antonio, TX to work with Urban Connection.

Wilderness Trek 2010
February 17-24

One of the most amazing weeks of our summer!  Trek is a week-long adventure in the mountains of Colorado. This year we will be adventuring on a Pack-n-Paddle in which we come down the mountain a day early so that we can spend a day rafting down a river.  The cost of the trip this year is $405 + $25 for travel. Trek is an excellent opportunity for our teens to grow spiritually both individually and as a group as well as develop individual talents and skills and as a more cohesive group.  Trek is for our HS teens entering 9th grade through graduating seniors.  For more information visit the Wilderness Trek official website at www.wildernesstrek.org or visit the Legacy Youth website at www.legacychurchofchrist.org/youth.

A FEW NOTES

$100 deposit is due on January 31 and is non refundable, but is transferable.
Total Trek cost is $405 (to Wilderness Trek) +$25(transportation/travel)
Total payments=$405 is due by May 2.  After May 2 there is a $25 late charge from Wilderness Trek, not Legacy.
All payments are non-refundable but are transferable.  So if you cannot go, we must find a replacement for your spot and then you can receive your refund.
We will schedule physicals here at Legacy for your convenience date TBA.
You must be able to complete the physical test in order to attend Trek, including adult sponsors.
We will take vans to Wilderness Trek.
We will be driving to Salida, CO on July 17 and staying overnight at the Wilderness Expedition Lodge
