The Legacy youth ministry is undertaking a Kingdom-spreading project! We are raising money to dig a well for a tribe of people in India that are in need of clean water. Our project is called "The Well-Water Project." Our well will be dug in a community of India where the gospel of Jesus Christ is being preached, and it will provide a platform for the minister of that community's church to be able to say that Christ has brought them this clean water, and He longs to give so much more than clean water.

Over 90% of Indians say their #1 heart-felt need is clean water. A child dies every 15 seconds from water-borne diseases in India - diseases that are completely curable if they only had clean water. Clean water can literally save lives!

We are partnering with Champions for India, a ministry of Sower of Seeds International, to raise $4,800 in order to dig a well and provide clean water for these people in the name of Christ! We are charging our teenagers to go outside this church family to their friends, teachers, coaches, neighbors, and extended family to raise the money that we need. We are challenging our teens to give their own money and to come up with creative ways to raise these funds so that the gospel of Christ can advance in a simple and life-changing way. It doesn't take much. $7.77 is enough of a contribution to provide clean water to 1 person for the next 30 years and save his or her life. Donations of any amount are welcome, but just $7.77 will save 1 life.
