FLOODING IN UVALDE, TEXAS
Our hearts are with the families of Uvalde, Texas as as well as surrounding areas. This month's devastating flooding has left many families facing heartbreaking loss and the overwhelming task of cleaning up and rebuilding their homes.
Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Team (DRT) will be working with the Getty Street Church of Christ in Uvalde to bring hope and help to those affected.
In times like these, the love of Christ is shown through helping hands, compassionate hearts, and neighbors helping neighbors.
WHAT CAN YOU DO?
Please keep the families of Uvalde, our volunteers, and the Getty Street Church of Christ in your prayers as these recovery efforts begin.
A team from Legacy will head to Uvalde August 11-13 and we really need those who are physically able to join us. This will be strenuous and hot, so we need all who join to be able to tolerate the conditions well. If you would like to go, please reach out to Steve Gage or David Read.
