It’s time to make a splash as we wave hello and welcome our new 7th graders into the Legacy Student Ministry family! The WAVE is our annual junior high kickoff — a day full of fun, connection, and lake life at The Lakehouse in Granbury. We’ll spend time boating, playing volleyball, fishing, and hanging out as we build friendships and learn what it means to truly belong in LSM.
This event is more than just a lake day — it’s a chance to catch the wave of what God is doing in our student ministry. Whether you’re brand new to Legacy or have been around for a while, you’ll walk away knowing people, feeling included, and becoming part of something bigger. So grab your swimsuit, sunscreen, and friends, and come join us as we wave in a new year together!
Then, as summer wraps up, we’ll circle back to what we started at WAVE with our Group Dynamix Connect Event, typically held in August. Join us for an unforgettable night at Group Dynamix — where teamwork meets adventure! From ropes courses to high-energy challenges, you’ll laugh, lead, and learn alongside friends as we strengthen our bonds and grow in faith.
Both of these experiences are designed to help you elevate into the LSM and start your school year strong — connected to your brothers and sisters in student ministry and grounded in your relationship with God.
